Beautiful Ladies..
As I mentioned in my previous blog, I just came back from my hometown, Medan-North-Sumatera, Indonesia and brought so many beauty products.. I'm a little over excited to try everything at one goal, lol!!
I always love my own country's products but that doesn't mean I buy it because I love my country, but instead I buy it because Indonesian beauty products are great, good quality and most importantly natural :) Lots of them are made by plants, made traditionally using lots of herbs and it's also generation by generation 's grandma beauty recipe... I grew up in Indonesia, traditionally I have many natural beauty tips from my grandma to share with you ladies around the globe, so follow my blog & let's be beautiful together inside-out!! :)
Well, this post I'm gonna write about my love towards Indonesian beauty brands.. Since I bought so many products, let's get started on my typical Indonesian beauty regime first!!!
STEP ONE:
1) LULUR, in English, lulur means "body spa". This product is very natural and basically contains little scrub granules and herbal turmeric water to soften skin :) It's like 2 in 1, body scrub & body mask, I use this to scrub my body and then wait for 10-15 minutes to let the turmeric water fully absorbed in my skin (you can also let it dry completely like face mask before rinsing off). Use it twice a week! :p
It smells great and my skin feels instant soft and more radiant after "lulur". This treatment started centuries ago by Javanese Princesses in Indonesia. Centuries ago, Indonesian Princesses used herbs & plants to maintain their beauty & passed down the beauty recipe from generation to generation. Moreover, Indonesia is also well known by its super rich herbs & plants, this is why Indonesian natural beauty products are available widely in the country & every lady loves to go natural there.. Natural Beauty Shines!!!
Made by curcuma heyneana extract, murrayae follium extract, tumeric, cananga odorata extract & pandan leaf extract (all natural plants & herbs, I'm not very familiar with the English terms)
Yes, it's yellow because turmeric is yellow and that's why curry (made by turmeric) is yellow too and Indians are swear by turmeric beauty to maintain fair beautiful skin :)
STEP TWO: Coffee Soap, yes.. it smells like coffee :) and coffee is good for skin :)
and here are the benefits ( in Indonesian & English).. English translation is below after Indonesian (see the picture below)
I feel so good bathing with coffee :) :)
STEP THREE: Carrot Shampoo :) To prevent dry hair and split ends
Orang Oring, in English means "eclipta leaf". To keep hair black richly glowing & shiny. I love beautiful shiny hair :)
STEP FOUR: Facial (Peeling and Masking)
This is my favourite step.. My face feels fresh, clean & soft :) just like having facial session at beauty salon :)
Oh, my mum loves these 2 products very much and swears by it!! She said her skin looks younger, fairer, tighter & more radiant after having her personal inexpensive facial :) She's 55 but looks like in her 40s, I hope I inherit her good skin when I'm at her age :)
Masker Bengkoang means "Bengkoang Mask" and Peeling Mundisari means "Mundisari (name) Peeling/or face scrub"
and I don't know what is Bengkoang in English, anyway bengkoang looks like this
Bengkoang Mask : Contains phospor and calsium which is extracted from Bengkoang. It has cooling effect and lightens skin color. It also diminishes black spots in face and neck area. Use it twice a week! :)
Mundisari Peeling: Made from natural plant's ingredients and original rice flour. Helps to exfoliate dead cells from skin surface and accelerates skin rejuvenation. Use twice a week & before masking! :)
Top: Bengkoang Mask (thick white color with pleasant smell)
Bottom: Mundisari Peeling (small beads scrub with not-so-pleasant herbal smell - but I don't mind)
and here I'm enjoying my masking session ^^
STEP FIVE: Natural Body Lotion
Left: Mustika Ratu Bengkoang Body Lotion
Right: Citra Japanese Rice & Camellia Flower Oil Body Lotion
Okay, no translation for this one, basically it says that Japanese Rice & Camellia Oil lighten skin color & reduce dark spots. Japanese rice is enriched with antioxidant to lighten skin color naturally and camellia oil softens skin. This is why Japanese women are very fair & soft skinned. Enriched with UVA & UVB to protect skin from sun exposure
For bengkoang lotion, since decades ago, Indonesian women are strong believers of bengkoang fruit as natural skin whitening product.. Eaten or applied, both will have the equal whitening effect naturally. Bengkoang as natural whitening has been passed down for generations and I had used it when I was 12 and considering to use it again for long term now :)
My fair skin is so smooth now... Step 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and now beautiful skin and it's worth it!!! :)
Zoom it, see my sensitive thin skin? pale color with lots of greenish & purplish spider veins :( How to get rid of my spider veins? I got this ALL from my mum, she has very pale skin color with endless spider veins too, Ha-Ha, that's the reason why I got it too!!
Protect your skin using natural remedies,

Soursop Leaves To Kill Cancer Cells
Hello....
It's very sunny here in Singapore today!
This post is about herbal treatment to cure cancer cells and cysts. I hope I can make a difference by sharing my story & experience in curing my ovarian cysts (possibly endometriosis/what a scary word!)
I also hope to help others especially women in curing ovarian cysts.
You know that having ovarian cysts is not easy for a young-just-married lady like me. Biologically I'm only 29, at this young age, I'm facing the possibility of never be able to conceive naturally or easily. These hateful cysts have taken its toll on me and cycle after cycle, my period has been coming regularly for over a year, sadly meaning "no baby"
The scariest part is I don't even know if it causes infertility (another hateful word I hate hate to say it out). Doctors couldn't confirm if my cysts are preventing conception, implantation, etc.. Doctors just said "Wait & See, you haven't tried long enough", "Maybe you should go for key hole (lap) surgery to remove the cysts" BUT there's no evidence to convince me & hubby if the cysts are the infertility causes... Seriously, everyone (doctors, me, hubby, etc) is just guessing if removing my cysts is the only solution for my infertility problem but again there's no prove if it's the root of problem or if it would increase my chance of conceiving..
Frustrating enough, right?? Anyway, besides the cysts, doctors couldn't find any other problems in my reproductive organs/systems..
Nevertheless, I'm very lucky to have very supportive hubby who hugs me when I cry, very helpful brother who tries to find the herbal treatment for me, very positive mum who thinks I can do it, it's not the time yet! and finally very helpful auntie & uncle who help to search around for herbal leaves :) I'm so grateful to have them in my life and I know I shouldn't asked for more, but I can't help to feel jealous & sad whenever I see pregnant women & babies..
Well, I don't want to sound so pathetic and I don't like sympathy!!
Such a long post, okay let's get back to the real post..
My brother (he's in Jakarta) informed me that soursop leaves can cure cancer cells & cysts. Read that from newspaper, watched that from TV, and he did some research too on its effectiveness in curing cancer cells.. Apparently, it worked for some people who didn't go for chemo & replaced the treatment with herbal-soursop-leaves-tea treatment and their cancers were gone... My brother suggested me to try and see if it works for me... What a nice guy he is, God Bless Him! :)
I was so wanted to try this soursop leave treatment the day my brother told me but unfortunately, soursop leaves are not available in Singapore because Singapore is such a small city and can hardly find any fruits farms, let alone to pluck all leaves out, you will deal with laws for doing that, lol!!
It's sad to say that such treatment is not workable in Singapore, but do you remember although I stay in Singapore with my Singaporeans family, but I'm still an Indonesian by nature??
Well, last week I went back to Indonesia (Medan-North Sumatera) for short holiday and to my surprise, my mum had already prepared soursop-leaves-tea to start my treatment and it's extremely easy to get soursop leaves in Indonesia as soursop trees are everywhere and grow wildly in public farms/parks/gardens and forests and it's of course FREE to pluck the leaves off as many as you want.. It's like so common in Indonesia while it's like finding precious gems in Singapore, lol!!
And again to my surprise, my uncle got me one big bag of soursop leaves (so many!) and today I brought it back to Singapore and store it inside my fridge :)
Let's see how I prepare this powerful tea
1) Wash it clean!
2) Boil it with 3-4 cups of water!
3) Cover it up while boiling, I heard that by covering it up, the antioxidant power will be absorbed inside, not going out instead! I also heard that it's good to cover up your boiling vegetables soup while cooking to absorb all the goodies & vitamins inside :)
4) here you go & remember to drink 3 glasses everyday :)
I'm just starting this treatment and I can't give a review yet but be assure that soursop leaves contain natural chemicals that are 10,000 times stronger in killing cancer cells than chemotherapy (I read that from Indonesians websites/forums/blogs). This treatment is widely used in Indonesia however it's not very popular in other countries.. (sadly!)
I hope everyone is healthy, baby dusts to those who are trying and get well to those who are sick!

Nose Up Review
How far can you go to straighten & sharpen your nose?
Ok, for myself, this is how far I can go as I'm so afraid of Botox, filler or plastic surgery!! That's scary!!
So, I use the natural method, using torturing nose clipper for 10 minutes a day :)
I believe this will work if you use it religiously for long term as our nose made of soft bones and 90% water inside, so the shape can be changed if certain pressure is being forced, gradually it will change its shape but just that you have to bear the pain.. This is what I'm lazy of!
I'm happy with my nose bridge, they are not very tall but obvious enough without shading powder :) but I wish to change the round fat tip to a sharper thinner tip (I wish I wish) I remain big "NO" to plastic surgery :)
See that I even have 2 types of this nose clipper. Japanese products are crazy yet innovative.. Love it!!
Another one is nose massager to slim down fat nose.. and I like this one as it's so comforting & relaxing to do the massage.. It's not painful at all. However, I wonder if it works like the hurting clipper :O

2B Alternative For Face Review
Pretty Ladies..
I have something super super super good to share with you all.. I can't thank enough the creator of this product.. It's like a magical FACE-SLIMMING product!
It's 2B Alternative For Face, I don't get paid to do this review. It's just my personal experience using this miracle product. Thank God!! I don't have to deal with puffy face anymore :) :)
I totally swear by it although it's very very expensive, S$70 plus at Guardian for 7ml x 2 bottles only.. but it's worth it!!
How to apply?
1) apply product twice a day (morning & night)
2) 2 drops on both cheeks & chin. Massage from bottom to top!
It absorbs very quickly like water based serum, smoothens my skin & I don't experience any break-outs... It's super good!! and my face is slimmer & less puffy in just one day. Yes, it takes only one day to see the result. Of course you don't expect to change square face to oval face shape.. But this product definitely helps if you have chubby fat face like me (and chubby & fleshy jaw lines too)
After a week of using it, I swear by it, my jawlines are more obvious now & it's not that chipmunk puffy anymore :) :) so it works like wonder :) thank God, I can leave my chubby face behind now :)
I still have squarish jaws and I hope long term application can change my squarish face shape to "Gua Zhi" or watermelon seed shape (Chinese said it's the perfect face shape)..
Inside the box, 7ml x 2
You see it's thinner now and no I never lose any weight!
It's sharper now, I'm so happy!!
I also try to masage my jaw line with this nose roller. Yeah this roller is meant to be a massager to slim down fatty nose (innovative Japanese product, no?) but I use it to massage my jaws, lol! You know that by massaging your face, it improves your blood circulation, thus your face will be less chubby or puffy :)
** Enjoying my massage, yes I do enjoy self massage, it's such a relaxing feeling, lol!
and read this! This is why this product is very effective
Ladies, I highly recommend this product if you wanna slim down your face but not sure what products to buy.. I used many face slimming products in the past, named Clarins V (very expensive, S$98, it took so long to see the effect), Bio-Essence Face Slimming (temporary result), Slimming Face Masks, etc but it didn't work very well or even if it worked, it was just temporary
But this product worked well just one application, so go grab it if you wish for V shape face!
Stay V-shaped!!

Don't Be Afraid of Dentist
Hello Ladies...
I just came back from my dental clinic. I had scaling & polishing done and love the result!! It made my teeth super clean & removed all my ugly coffee stains :) YAY!!!
Personally, I think nice teeth is very important for women, no matter how pretty the woman is but if she has ugly smile, it doesn't look nice on her overall appearance.. Plus if you have nice teeth, nice smile, you become more confident & won't be shy of big Colgate-smile :)
I visit my dentist every 6 months & maintain my teeth very well, better than my skin.. I don't even bother to go for facial or apply body lotion every night but I can't go on without brushing & flossing my teeth religiously every night, lol!
**showing off, how nice if I can maintain this smile forever without visiting my dentist. I spent S$55 on scaling & polishing, I know it's cheap because my teeth didn't have much stains and good news, they are all in very good & healthy condition (my dentist said!), yay!
I know I will never have super white teeth as I'm against bleaching (bad chemicals, you know!) but I'm happy enough as long as they are healthy :)
I can't imagine myself wearing dentures when I'm old, so I will maintain my original teeth until the end (hopefully, lol)
Protect your beautiful smile, ladies!

Pretty with glasses
Glasses? Yay or Nay?
The point is you still CAN look pretty & sexy with glasses on.. Trust me!! The key is fresh complexion & eye make up :)
I'm short sighted. I wear my glasses every single day & I am proud wearing them :)
** sexy look
Yes, you can afford to draw your eyes a little bit thicker & glue on a quarter of falsies on your lower eyelashes. I mixed gold color & black color eyeshadow for this look :)
For Face: Skin 79 BB cream, Etude House Compact Powder, Etude Highlighter, Boi-Ing concealer, Canmake Shading Powder
For eyebrows: Etude House Eyebrow Powder
For eyes: Japanese Eyelashes (cheap! S$3 for 3 pairs & very natural too), Majolica eyeshadow, Koji Shadow eye tape (very very natural & good), Clio Gelpresso Gel Liner (very impressed with this eyeliner)
For Lips: Revlon lipstick in mauve color
oh, talking about Korean's Clio Gelpresso Pencil Gel Liner, I'm very very impressed!! This is so good and doesn't smudge, it lasts very long too!! It creates gel liner kind of effect but as easy to apply on as crayon-pencil eyeliner. It's seriously very very easy to draw on using this magic pencil. And ohh the result is like thick-black with gold glittering kind of look.. So cool ^^ I love love love it!!!
Be Proud of Your Short-Sighted Eyes!

What is inside my make-up bag?
Pretty ladies out there...
Wanna show you what is inside my little pink cosmetic bag.. It's not many stuff there as I regularly clean up my junk cosmetics, so I have promised myself not to buy too many as I won't be able to finish it up and it will normally expire before I have the chance to finish it (well shame on me, not even able to finish a quarter) so, why do I have to bin my hard-earned money away?
Pink.. Pink..Pink... my favourite color!!
See what is inside.. I don't own too many cosmetics :)
I truly truly love Revlon Color Stay eyeliner, it doesn't smudge & last for the whole day. (Color from top to bottom) Black, Brown, Blackberry (dark purple-ish), Charcoal. For natural looking look, I recommend charcoal color or dark brown. I would say all colors are dark and very suitable for daily make-up. Shall I need to add the eyeliner is also very easy to use too? I love it and I hope you too :)
Love my korean pink blusher (Etude House) and Maybelline natural blusher. I use my korean blusher to make my face glowy & creates korean-flawless look :) for maybelline Jelly Glow, I use it too create healthy complexion as my korean blusher is very light in color and more suitable for overall face highlighter :)
I use Etude House eyebrow powder for natural looking eyebrows :)
My Etude House Peach Lip Balm (very nice peachy scent) and Etude House Lip Gloss in nude :)
My lipsticks. I have only 3 rules in lipstick: Slightly Dark Pink (Revlon no. 005 Mauve), Pink (Maybelline no. 015 born with it) & Orangey-Nude (Etude House). That's all I need. I love natural look with natural nude lips :)
Dark pink, pink, orange-nude lipsticks
Mascaras: the best out of the best is Majolica Majorca, Lash Expander Frame :) It has fibers that make eyelashes go all the way too long like falsies :)
Bought the blue color too but when you apply on, it doesn't look blue, it looks shiny dark color :) so don't worry about the blue, it still looks black to me :)
See what I use for my glowy complexion: BB cream by Skin 79, Etude House Pressed Powder & Blusher/Highlighter
See that, left/before and right/after. My 3 rules for glowy beautiful complexion: BB Cream, Powder & blusher/highlighter
I love Majolica Majorca Eyeshadows :) because they are so gliterry :) I love Canmake eyeshadows too because they are so colorful :)
My Majolica Majorca Eyeshadows collection :)
