Baby EJ is 7 months old and here goes my life as a SAHM

It's 9:02 PM now as I'm writing this and I have a little boy who's now snoring in his cot right beside me and also my first time writing a blog post this late.. It's better to write than wasting my time on Facebook while waiting for my next pumping schedule at 12 AM.

I just can't sleep that early, I wish I could, so I could transform myself from a walking zombie into a properly functioned SAHM.. Oh well speaking about sleep deprivation, I wonder when will I upgrade from 4 hours to 6 hours of sleep a night?

I think I have so much going on in my life. First, I'm trying to conceive no.2. Yes, it sounds a little early to try no.2 while my baby is barely 8 months old and I do have my reasons behind it!

My hubby wishes to get a baby with horse horoscope (there's a belief in Chinese that a horoscope will be either doing good or clash with another horoscope). Next year 2014 is a horse year and my hubby's ox horoscope will match well with his horse baby. And for the following year 2015, a goat year is a bad clash to my hubby's ox horoscope. That's the main reason & I have no heart to break my old man's heart!

So, yeah currently TTC-ing and hope good news coming soon :)

TTC-ing the new babe means it's going to be the end of my breastfeeding journey soon and I'm weaning my son from expressed breast milk and God knows, how hard and emotional trying to quit breastfeeding is!

As part of my quitting process, I reduced my breast pumping session to just 4 times a day and it has been a week, so far I'm doing good, no engorgement, no stuck milk ducts, etc, just that I'm being too emotional over weaning! Breast milk getting lesser too (which triggers more sadness as I think I'm not mentally ready to quit but I have to, as the clock to conceive no. 2 is ticking fast)

I wish the horse year is not in 2014 but 2015, how nice? I wish I could breastfeed him longer! :'(

Second, we have a new domestic helper now and she's very green in taking care a baby, so I'm still training her & I hope she learns fast. Having a helper with no experience in taking care a baby can be challenging because I have to teach her super basic things like how to assemble or dissemble a feeding bottle, how to carry a baby, how to wash baby stuff, how to sterilize baby stuff without scalding her hands and oh boy, our helper is really tiny, our 8 year old little niece looks much bigger than her.. I just hope that she has the strength to carry my boy! Thinking about having the 2nd babe, now it worries me, I hope the new helper can cope with no. 2 too!

Now back to baby EJ, he's now 7 months old and oh boy, a super duper active boy.. I wonder if he can stay quite for one second when he's not sleeping.

At 7 months old, he's currently 9.8 kg & 74 cm. He's huge!

2 weeks ago, baby EJ was sick, he was having bad flu & cough. It broke my heart to see him cry, his nose stuck, couldn't sleep and coughed badly :'( I cried several times and I wished I had the power to transfer his sickness to me.. He couldn't blow his nose when it was stuck badly and it was midnight, my hubby was overseas and I didn't know what to do to make him feel better.. He refused to drink milk and cried a lot.. During that time, I think I was in the middle of breaking down, and I just cried! Crying made me feel better and I had the strength to carry on & take a good care of him, so the next day I brought him to his pedi and he was prescribed antibiotic, cough mixture, flu mixture & nose drop! It was apparently a bad cold he caught in cold rainy days!

It wasn't easy to feed him his medication 3 times a day using syringe designed to feed infants oral medications, he cried so much and with so much medications, it took several jabs to get into his throat and my heart was breaking so badly seeing him screaming and crying.. 2 days later, I did different approach, I mixed his cold syrup and antibiotic (mixed separately) with breast milk in a bottle and it worked! A much better approach! He recovered in 1.5 weeks and now, he's back to a normal healthy infant!

Motherhood is truly tested when a child is sick!

His big milestone at 7 months old, STANDING UP! He started to stand up at 6 months 3 weeks old and oh yes, it was that early.. Now at 7 months old, he can stand firmly for a long time, holding into his crib and able to move a few steps, either right or left. He's my little superman!

Look at his 2 teeth! 2 sharp pearly whites, yippie! Be careful, it hurts when he bites your fingers!

It's not easy to handle a teething baby as he can be very cranky and many times, he rejects his milk & solid too! So as a mama, I got to do whatever it takes to fill his tummy full! Teething is stressful for both baby and his mama. Period.

Other milestones : CRAWLING. He's super fast like a busy bee king! REACHING OUT HIS ARMS. He signals us, so we can carry him immediately. What a demanding little baby! SAYING BA-BA-BA oh yes, his first word was ba-ba-ba (sounds like papa, oh Mr. Lim, you're lucky, I'm just envious! I hope he can say ma-ma soon, lol!)

Peeking out of window.. A slight of light brightens his day!

Overall, he's still a super adorable & happy baby!

It looks like he hates banana, but secretly loving it!

With bare faced momma and her panda eyes (aka M.E) He's the reason of my 4 hours sleep a night!

Adorable little boy (wrong, adorable huge baby)

How to use Clearblue digital ovulation kit/test & review

Hi Ladies....

Wanna show you how to use Clearblue digital ovulation kit/test. If you are trying to conceive, this digital ovulation kit is the best in the market because it won't confuse you to read the result. I have tried to use manual ovulation kit but the "blue lines" result confused me! so I think this kit gives me the most accurate result.

My doctor predicted me to ovulate at day 16 based on the vaginal ultrasound he did during my fertile period and you know what, this kit gave me the same accurate result!!

The first time I bought this kit, I hated it so much because I didn't know how to use it, so every time I tried it out, I got ERROR result, so damn frustrated!! until I brought the kit to my women clinic and asked help from the nurse on how to use it properly. Pathetic!!!

So, just in case you ladies trying to conceive don't know how to use it (like me), here you go, I will show you step by step and I hope my little help will be helpful for you... Baby Dusts!!!!

In Singapore, it costs almost S$80, available at Watsons & Guardian and it has 7 sticks inside the box

Okay, here's the chart on when should you test it out, if you have a period cycle of average 29 days (like me), then you should start testing it on day 12 of your period cycle..

For my case, no matter if my cycle is 26, 27, 28, 29 or 30 (oh well my cycle varies from day 26-30), I always get my "smile" or positive result on day 15-18, most of the time, day 16-17 so I don't really test it out on day 12, I start on day 14, you know so I can keep the rest of my test sticks for the following month (since it's so pricey)

Here how it looks like, a predictor with a test stick

Step 1: Take your ovulation stick out & remove the pink cap

Step 2 : Insert the stick into the predictor, you see the pink arrow? It must face one another!

after inserting it, you will then see like a "pen" image on your predictor monitor

Step 3: (sorry for my gross urine), dip the stick inside your urine. I recommend to test it out in the morning, but actually it doesn't matter, I still got my positive "smile" result in the afternoon. Okay, when you dip it inside, please dip below the pink arrow (the one facing up), or white line below the pink arrow (see pic above)

Step 4: Wait a few seconds until you see the "pen" image "FLASHING ON & OFF" , meaning the pen image on your monitor appears half a sec then disappears another half a sec, and appears, then disappears, and so on. it's like flashing on & off.. It means you need to take the stick out from your urine

When I took this pic (below), the pen image flashed off, so you can't see the pen image, it's in fact flashing on & off. After that you need to cover the "urine test area" up with the pink cap.. and don't worry if the "pen image" is still flashing on & off.. Flashing ON & OFF (appears then disappears), means that the predictor is getting you the result.. just wait!!! Wait for about 3-5 minutes!!

I recommend you to throw your urine away after you get the result because sometimes you may get "ERROR" result and need to re-test again , just in case you can't pee enough within minutes (like me)

Never ever press the "EJECT" button before you get the result because it will show ERROR when you re-insert the same stick again!

Step 5: After waiting for 3-5 minutes, the pen image (flasing on & off) will finally turn into a result. A circle without smiley face means no ovulation prediction. You have to test it out again tomorrow!

and if you get a smiley face, you need to have sex on the same day & the following day (2 days), It means you are most likely to ovulate within 24-36 hours..

Step 6: Press eject button to get the stick out

Step 7: Throw the stick away and keep the predictor to test your ovulation on the next day. The result will stay there for a little while & disappear minutes later

Step 8: Keep testing every day until you see "smiley" face

Good Luck!!!

I hope it's helpful!!

Healthy Diet for Fertility & Endometriosis

Ladiesssss...

I just wanna say please please don't take your health for granted..

I once used to take my health for granted, I thought I was healthy, I drank, I ate unhealthy fast foods, I skipped meals, I didn't exercise and I ate rubbish foods! and I thought I was okay until I got married and was diagnosed with ovarian cysts & endometriosis when I was trying to conceive.. I blamed my bad lifestyle! and my surgery was like a life changing experience for me, after having my surgery, I determined to change my lifestyle! I'm starting to eat healthy!! and yes I'm so determined to conceive!

See what I consume for daily basis:

1) Plenty of water (I say no to soft drinks)
2) Bee Propolis or Royal Jelly (I alternate it)
3) Bird Nest (twice in a week, bird nest is good for recovery & to regenerate healthy cells, and it's proven! whenever I got sick, I drank a bottle of bird nest every day and I recovered very fast, yes.. it's good for speed recovery)
4) Cut down carbohydrate foods (this is super hard cos I'm a typical Asian who eats lots of noodles & rice, but I try to eat just one carbo meal a day, normally in the morning)
5) Lots of Fruits
6) Lots of Vegetables (I'm trying hard as I'm not a big fan of vegetables)
7) Multi Vitamins (with 400 gm of folic acid)
8) Omega3-Fish Oil capsule
9) Green Tea (every morning)
10) Healthy Snacks (sweet corn, sweet potatoes, fruits, boiled nuts)
11) Honey & Lemon (whenever I feel like drinking something sweet)

don't forget to do:

12) Light Exercise (30 minutes walking daily)
13) Sex on day 12,14,16,18 of your period cycle to maximize the chance, every other day is good enough!

What I avoid:

1) Fried Foods
2) Junk Foods
3) Soy Products (I heard it's bad for endometriosis sufferer)
4) Bread (try to avoid too much carbo)
5) Seafood except fish (our family believes that seafood is bad because it can cause allergy & it's also full of toxins)
6) Milk, Egg, Cheese (bad for endometriosis sufferer because it stimulates hormone)
7) Soft Drinks
8) Processed Foods (yes including snack bars, crackers, chips, etc)
9) Can Foods (yes this as well, it's still considered processed foods, no?)
10) Less Meats

Another thing is to eat anything everything in moderate, not too much not too little!!

Grab your healthy dinner now!!! I'm a typical Asian lady who doesn't really like to eat raw vegetables like salad, so I opt for a full of vegetables soup in my own Asian style :)

So, please ladies, stay healthy!! eat healthy before it's too late!!! You will never know what would happen in the future! So, stay healthy & go for women medical check up that includes reproductive check up!

Do you believe in fate?

Seriously do you believe in fate?

Coming from a family with super strong superstitious values, I do belive in fate sometimes..

Here's my story:

Last month, a week before my Hong Kong Trip, I accepted a job offer from a Japanese MNC and informed the company that I'd be starting my job after my long planned trip. Unluckily for me, I fell sick on the way back from Hong Kong to Singapore (my home), so I couldn't turn up at work on the next day.. The company sent me an email that they won't pursue my employment further due to my absence at work. I was so mad! How could they terminate my employment contract just because I fell sick on my first day at work?

You know what? It's all fated! 2 days after that contract termination, I received news from my doctor to perform emergency lap surgery to remove my endometriosis & ovarian cysts, so I could conceive real soon. After the surgery, I needed at least 2 weeks to recover & rest well. Can you imagine if I continue working in that company, I wouldn't be able to take hospitalisation leave and I would have delayed the surgery because I couldn't just take long leave when I just started my new job!

Yes, It's fated and I am happy the fact that I'm not working and I don't plan to right now because I'm focusing on TTC (Try-To-Conceive).

During our trip to Hong Kong, we visited a very famous temple there (pictures below). Many Chinese believe that their prayer will be answered directly by praying & asking the God's advice. I don't mean that prayer will be answered later, but a real direct ANSWER to their question. To be more precise, when they pray, they are holding a bamboo vase with lots of bamboo sticks inside and numbers written on the bamboo sticks (normally no. 1-100, I'm not too sure too), then when they are praying & asking question (one question only, not to confuse the God), they shake the bamboo vase until one bamboo stick with one number written on falls down. Then, they will take bamboo stick with number to the temple staff and ask the meaning of the number, normally they believe it's the answer from their prayer to God in the temple.

Well, as you see in my picture below, many believers are praying with a bamboo vase being shaken out (oh well, you can see the bamboo vase here). I saw a few Caucasians asking questions to the God too.. I was amazed!

My husband did ask a question: "When are we going to have a baby?". The answer was there's a chance but a precious chance, meaning yes we will have the baby, but with hard work, full determination, a precious time to wait. It also said that we have 2 chances to conceive in a year time.

Back from the temple, as you know many Chinese people are very superstitious including my family, they believe in fortune teller, fate, etc.. , my mother in law went to a fortune teller in Hong Kong to ask when am I going to hold a newborn? The answer from the lady fortune teller was pretty good, she said "real soon" and she also said that I'm going to have 2 sons & 1 daughter in the future. Nah!!

The funny thing was the lady fortune teller predicted ALL of us well, good job, good life, good this and that, yeah all of us got predicted to do very well in life. I wonder how could it be? There are always ups & downs in life, right? I guess, she was just being nice, she didn't want to say something nasty, although if she could see it, she didn't want to disappoint her clients, oh-oh?

Oh well, let's see if she's right!

Niwana SOD doesn't work

Hello Ladies....

This post is dedicated to women in Indonesia or perhaps other countries who suffer from endometriosis or/and ovarian cyst/s like me...

I tried this product from Japan and apparently it's widely & famously used in Indonesia to cure many types of diseases including endometriosis & ovarian cysts. As many of you know that I'm an Indonesian, so my brother asked me to try this product, Niwana SOD. It's basically a herbal product made by green tea, citrus juice, barley, soybean, rice bran and sesame seed, in the form of black powder and claimed to be effective in curing cancer too.. I was like WOW, it's another SUPERFOOD. Despite the super expensive price, about S$300 plus for 2 week supply, again it said that it would take 2 weeks to cure naturally.

My brother really took an effort in getting this Japanese product from an agent in Indonesia, Thanks Bro!! and you know what??? after having it for 2 weeks, religiously taking it 3 times a day, an hour before meal..(it didn't taste bad) IT DIDN'T CURE MY OVARIAN CYSTS nor ENDOMETRIOSIS.. I ended up having lap surgery to remove it!!

Well, I won't say this product is totally bad! I think it doesn't have side effects (never experienced any) and it maybe good to maintain overall health & well being!!

Stay healthy, take your vitamins and have lots of fruity goodies!!

Lap Surgery To Remove Endo Ovarian Cysts

Hello....

Oh... What the hell happened to me???

Oh well, oh well...

I just had my lap surgery to remove my big-big twins ovarian cysts last week and I'm recovering and almost 100% well now..

It has been a week since I had my surgery and I'm doing very very good.. Spent $9k on the surgery, thanks to my insurance that helped to cover half of the cost. So, ladies.. insurance is very very important no matter what...

I stayed in the hospital for the whole one day and damn.. I tell ya, it hurt and yes it really hurt ALOT!

Sitting down, getting up, bending down, or whatever activity... was damn damn hurtful, crampy and it was horrible!!

Finally, my surgeon was able to remove my big ovarian cysts (5 cm +) on my left and right ovaries and my endo was removed too!! I'm too afraid if it will come back again :(

So, I must try damn HARD to get preggo before my cyst & endo come back again!!

This is like the first time in my life I take care myself really really well.. No more JUNK foods, no more seafood (full of toxins), no more processed foods, no more oily & fried stuff, no more soft drinks, no more drinking from plastic bottle, wash & peel my fruits properly before eating, no more dairies and many more of NO NO NO... oh gosh, I'm so so so freaking afraid of my cysts coming back before I have my baby!!

Good luck to my TTC program after the surgery!

I wish ya all well, stay healthy!

Bai Feng Wan or White Phoenix Pills

Ladiezzzz...

Today TTC topic, I'm gonna talk about Bai Feng Wan or White Phoenix Pills.. Why is it called white pills? the pills are black color LOL, My mum in law bought this for me as a fertility aid. It claims that this Chinese supplement can regulate women's period cycle & warm-up the womb. Chinese believes that a warm-womb is a fertile womb, oh well!!

The main ingredients are extracted from special type of chicken (the chicken must have special rare black bones) and also some special Chinese ginseng.

and here are the ingredients if you are able to understand the terms, I don't though!

There are 6 small boxes in 1 pack and one small box contains one little wax egg. Yeah it's a wax egg!!

then I opened it and there's this little black pills inside the plastic container and I'm supposed to drink/swallow all pills together with a glass of water.. The taste was okay, a little bit of Chinese medicine scent.. but that's really fine for me!!!

and you know what ladiessss, don't throw away the plastic packaging, I re-used it as my skin care - travel-kit.. You know you can store your face cream, lotion, mask and bring it around when you are travelling :)

I just hope that this will help to warm up my womb, thus I can get pregnant in 2012

Stay Positive,

Bee Propolis for Endometriosis to Conceive

Hi Beautiful Ladies...

Today I'm gonna talk about Bee Propolis. Maybe a few of you know that Bee Propolis is widely used to cure body inflammation but do you know that it also helps women with endometriosis to conceive.. Women with endometriosis tend to have higher inflammation in the body and inflammation could prevent conception from happening, thus Bee Propolis is used to reduce body inflammation and promote healthy conception & implantation later on..

For my case, doctors have not been able to diagnose me with endometriosis before having my lap (key hole) surgery to determine if the cysts I have been carrying for the past a year and half are the endometriosis cysts, but it's most likely to be since my cysts are growing ovarian chocolate cysts and don't dissolve for many months :(

Well, I guess there's no harm to try bee propolis since I have done my research well, but here goes a little problem for me.. You know that in my previous blog entry, http://www.made-beautifully.blogspot.com/2012/05/apitheraphy-using-honey-bee-products-to.html , I have also been taking other bee products like manuka honey, royal jelly, bee pollen and I tried to take ALL these together, let's say: royal jelly, bee pollen in the morning, bee propolis and honey in the evening and you know what? I got rashes, it felt like bee stings.. I didn't see red rashes, just that I felt burning itchiness just like invisible bee stings :( I guess too much of everything GOOD can become NO GOOD...  Learnt my lesson well and I have re-scheduled my bee products consumption.. You guys see this :) Now I take one product each day and I alter it from day to day.. See my schedule, so I don't forget it! :)

This means that if Monday I take royal jelly, I don't take others, so Royal Jelly in the morning & Manuka Honey in the evening.. I still drink 2 spoons of Manuka Honey + Cinnamon + 2 spoons of Apple Cider Vinegar every night. On top of that, I take multivitamins (1 pill) as usual every night :)

So far, I'm very okay with this arrangement as I don't get bee stings anymore (which is great) and let see if this will help me in conceiving our long-waited child :) and help us to achieve good health too :)

Back to the topic, here's the bee propolis I bought from Nature Farm, Bugis Village (Singapore), S$36 for 90 capsules..

It's fine to have it even if you don't have cysts, endometriosis or want to conceive.. It's for general health afterall, but I can tell you that I don't like bee propolis because it smells like GARBAGE, yessss no kidding it really does smell like rotten vegetables from household trash :( Despite that, I'm willing to try if it's a good product designed for good health :)

The serving size is 2 capsules, but I normally take 1 capsule because I'm afraid of bee stings.. Remember, I'm taking Manuka Honey too.. So I try not to take too much of everything :)

Plus if you have endometriosis, the recommended serving is 2 times of 500 mg every day. However, if you buy 2:1 Concentrate like mine, 1 capsule equals to 1000 mg raw propolis, so it's enough!! Don't take too much!!

Facts I found online:

1) Women with endometriosis who have been unable to get pregnant may have a more successful outcome by taking bee propolis, according to a preliminary study in Fertility and Sterility

2) Women taking bee propolis had a significantly higher pregnancy rate than those taking the placebo. The number of women who became pregnant in the treatment and placebo groups was 60 and 20%, respectively. No adverse effects were reported by the women taking bee propolis.

3) Propolis is the resinous substance collected by bees from the leaves and bark of trees, especially poplar and conifer trees. Bees use propolis along with beeswax to construct their hives. Test tube studies, although preliminary, suggest that propolis may have strong anti-inflammatory effects. The pain associated with endometriosis is often due to the body’s inflammatory response to the endometrial lesions in the pelvic wall. Propolis may help decrease this inflammatory reaction, thereby reducing pain. It is unknown how propolis affects fertility.

I hope this information will help women with endo who wish to conceive their babies & I pray for all of you...

Apitheraphy: Using Honey Bee products to Heal & Conceive

Hello Beautiful People out there....

I just bought Manuka Honey with Cinnamon & Bee Pollen and I have done intensive research on the benefits of both products for healing & ttc aka try-to-conceive

Using Honey Bee products for healing is also called Apitherapy. This therapy is proven to be effective and has been used since thousands of years ago. However, if you are allergic to bee, it's better to stay away :p .I'm lucky to be able to use this therapy to help me to conceive and I really hope I can see the result (which is a big fat positive) in the coming months. Fingers crossed & keep praying. :)

A woman who wants to enhance her fertility to increase her chances of getting pregnant should highly consider taking royal jelly and bee pollen. These two are proven to boost the fertility rate of women, for these they contain nutrients, vitamins and minerals necessary to increase female fertility naturally. Royal jelly and bee pollen for fertility is the effective solution for women facing infertility issues or those who simply want to ensure that they get pregnant fast
Bee Pollen

Bee pollen increases the strength of natural ovulation among women as it improves the condition of their ovaries. Therefore, we produce better quality egg/s for conception

This is how the granules look like. I bought this at Robinson, Centre Point (Singapore) at S$36. The taste is not bad, a combination of sour, sweet & bitter, but I still prefer to swallow it with a glass of water

Bee pollen is the male seed of a flower blossom which are collected by the honey bee and mixed with the bees' digestive enzymes. It's a blend of sticky pollen granules that could contain up to five million pollen spores each

Many people have successfully used it to treat a variety of ailments, including:

- Asthma
- Indigestion, diarrhoea, constipation and other digestive issues
- Anaemia
- Low energy and fatigue
- Depression
- Skin conditions such as acne
- Sexual problems
- Hemorrhoids
- Obesity
- Rheumatism and arthritis

Bee pollen is also useful for improving the health of the heart, prostate, immune system and nervous system.
Royal Jelly

Royal jelly contains multi-vitamins and minerals that improve the quality and condition of a woman's eggs. When taken regularly, royal jelly balances the hormones to prevent various health problems such as irregular menstrual cycle and pcos (polycystic ovarian syndrome), among others

Royal jelly is the Queen Bee's food, collected & given by the worker bees. Body size of queen bee reaches two times larger than worker bees. Age of worker bees around 30 to 45 days, while the queen bee that continue to consume royal jelly has a lifetime much longer, up to 3.5 years. This makes the royal jelly is also believed to be anti-aging medicine than as a supplement to increase fertility.

Queen bee's ovary can grow perfectly, so that it can generate a lot of eggs up to 2000 per day. Fertility benefits of royal jelly for the queen bee reproduction becomes a strong reason the implementation of royal jelly fertility treatment

Royal jelly can make irregular menstrual cycles to become normal, so that can know the exact time of your fertility. In terms of fertility, royal jelly can increase production and egg quality

Other Health Benefits:

1) Cholesterol Control
2) Breast Cancer
3) Osteoporosis & Bone Loss
4) Diabetes & Blood Sugar Control
5) Skin Healing
6) Inflammation
7) Liver Protection
8) Brain Function Enhancement
9) Immune Modulator
10) Antioxidant Power

Manuka Honey and Cinnamon

Now it's available 2 in 1, Manuka Honey & Cinnamon in one bottle.

I bought it at Robinson, Centre Point (Singapore) at S$77. I choose Manuka Honey because it has the best quality honey and this one is imported from New Zealand. The color is thick light brown and it has different texture (thicker & creamier) compared to normal honey (maybe because this one is mixed with cinnamon?)

Yunani and Ayurvedic Medicine have been using honey for thousands of years to strengthen the semen of men. If impotent men regularly take two tablespoon of honey before going to sleep, their problem will be solved.

In China, Japan and Far-East countries, women, who do not conceive and need to strengthen the uterus, have been taking cinnamon powder for centuries. Women who
cannot conceive may take a pinch of cinnamon powder in half teaspoon of honey
and apply it on the gums frequently throughout the day, so that it slowly mixes with the saliva and enters the body.

A couple in Maryland, USA, had no children for 14 years and had lost hope of having a child of their own. When told about this process, husband and wife started taking honey and cinnamon as stated above; the wife conceived after a few months and had twins at full term.

Other Benefits:

1) Heart Diseases
2) Arthritis
3) Bladder Infection
4) Cholesterol
5) Cold
6) Upset Stomach
7) Gas
8) Immune System
9) Indigestion
10) Influenza
11) Longevity

12) Cancer
13) Fatigue
14) Bad Breath
15) Hearing Loss

Okay, all above are based on my combined intensive research and I hope it can help other women in conceiving their long-waited babies and also to help others in healing :)

Here's my therapy routine:

Morning : 1 capsule of royal jelly (1000 mg) + 2 teaspoons of Bee Pollen Granules (drink with a glass of water). Hubby takes 1 capsule of royal jelly

Night : 1 tablespoon of Manuka honey & cinnamon + 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (to be mixed with water). Both me & hubby take a glass every night.

Both of us also take multivitamins & minerals. I choose Multivitamins with Folic Acid as suggested by our gynae

Such a long post & I shall stop here. I hope this post helps others

Baby Dusts with love,

Soursop Leaves To Kill Cancer Cells

Hello....

It's very sunny here in Singapore today!

This post is about herbal treatment to cure cancer cells and cysts. I hope I can make a difference by sharing my story & experience in curing my ovarian cysts (possibly endometriosis/what a scary word!)

I also hope to help others especially women in curing ovarian cysts.

You know that having ovarian cysts is not easy for a young-just-married lady like me. Biologically I'm only 29, at this young age, I'm facing the possibility of never be able to conceive naturally or easily. These hateful cysts have taken its toll on me and cycle after cycle, my period has been coming regularly for over a year, sadly meaning "no baby"

The scariest part is I don't even know if it causes infertility (another hateful word I hate hate to say it out). Doctors couldn't confirm if my cysts are preventing conception, implantation, etc.. Doctors just said "Wait & See, you haven't tried long enough", "Maybe you should go for key hole (lap) surgery to remove the cysts" BUT there's no evidence to convince me & hubby if the cysts are the infertility causes... Seriously, everyone (doctors, me, hubby, etc) is just guessing if removing my cysts is the only solution for my infertility problem but again there's no prove if it's the root of problem or if it would increase my chance of conceiving..

Frustrating enough, right?? Anyway, besides the cysts, doctors couldn't find any other problems in my reproductive organs/systems..

Nevertheless, I'm very lucky to have very supportive hubby who hugs me when I cry, very helpful brother who tries to find the herbal treatment for me, very positive mum who thinks I can do it, it's not the time yet! and finally very helpful auntie & uncle who help to search around for herbal leaves :) I'm so grateful to have them in my life and I know I shouldn't asked for more, but I can't help to feel jealous & sad whenever I see pregnant women & babies..

Well, I don't want to sound so pathetic and I don't like sympathy!!

Such a long post, okay let's get back to the real post..

My brother (he's in Jakarta) informed me that soursop leaves can cure cancer cells & cysts. Read that from newspaper, watched that from TV, and he did some research too on its effectiveness in curing cancer cells.. Apparently, it worked for some people who didn't go for chemo & replaced the treatment with herbal-soursop-leaves-tea treatment and their cancers were gone... My brother suggested me to try and see if it works for me... What a nice guy he is, God Bless Him! :)

I was so wanted to try this soursop leave treatment the day my brother told me but unfortunately, soursop leaves are not available in Singapore because Singapore is such a small city and can hardly find any fruits farms, let alone to pluck all leaves out, you will deal with laws for doing that, lol!!

It's sad to say that such treatment is not workable in Singapore, but do you remember although I stay in Singapore with my Singaporeans family, but I'm still an Indonesian by nature??

Well, last week I went back to Indonesia (Medan-North Sumatera) for short holiday and to my surprise, my mum had already prepared soursop-leaves-tea to start my treatment and it's extremely easy to get soursop leaves in Indonesia as soursop trees are everywhere and grow wildly in public farms/parks/gardens and forests and it's of course FREE to pluck the leaves off as many as you want.. It's like so common in Indonesia while it's like finding precious gems in Singapore, lol!!

And again to my surprise, my uncle got me one big bag of soursop leaves (so many!) and today I brought it back to Singapore and store it inside my fridge :)

Let's see how I prepare this powerful tea

1) Wash it clean!

2) Boil it with 3-4 cups of water!

3) Cover it up while boiling, I heard that by covering it up, the antioxidant power will be absorbed inside, not going out instead! I also heard that it's good to cover up your boiling vegetables soup while cooking to absorb all the goodies & vitamins inside :)

4) here you go & remember to drink 3 glasses everyday :)

I'm just starting this treatment and I can't give a review yet but be assure that soursop leaves contain natural chemicals that are 10,000 times stronger in killing cancer cells than chemotherapy (I read that from Indonesians websites/forums/blogs). This treatment is widely used in Indonesia however it's not very popular in other countries.. (sadly!)

I hope everyone is healthy, baby dusts to those who are trying and get well to those who are sick!

Beauty & Health Regime & Try To Conceive

Good day!!! It's a beautiful sunny day today and I wanna share with you my beauty & health daily regime. It's my beauty care (inside my body). I believe in good supplements! When we are healthy, we are beautiful inside out! I truly believe that, to be beautiful outside, we gotta first take care the inside beautifully. It's also good to maintain good health when you are trying to conceive like me :)

Wanna be pretty with smooth glowy skin, healthy hair, nails & teeth? Go and stock up your supplements!!

See what I stock up:

Royal Jelly. Superfood! Benefits:

More energy, Healthier skin and hair, More youthful appearance, Strengthened immune system, Reproductive health - fertility, More resilience to colds/flu, Reduced feelings of stress

What has it got to do with fertility? well, based on my research, it helps with egg quality, stimulates more regular female hormone (reproductive). Somehow it makes our female reproductive system running smoothly according to its nature. For male, it helps with increased sperm quantity :) I suggested my hubby to take 1 capsule every morning before breakfast. And yeah I take one too every morning :)

Aloe Vera juice & honey. Aloe Vera is good for body inflammation & has detoxifying properties. Overall, it's very good to flush all toxins out of the body & clear up the system

Morning before breakfast. This is what I prepare:

1/4 cup of aloe vera juice (bought from Nature Farm), 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar  (bought from nature farm) & 1 full tablespoon of honey. It's very very refreshing with a glass of water :)

Apple Cider Vinegar is another super food. Many swear by its benefits!! Apple cider vinegar is just as effective in preventing all kinds of diseases

Benefits:

Helping reduce the risk of heart disease, antioxidant boost, prevent cancer, prevent memory loss, prevent cold & flu, helping to control weight and many more.. It also prevents acne & promotes healthy skin. And whitens teeth too :)

What has it gotta do with fertility? Well, Apple Cider Vinegar is known to help maintain an acidic environment in body, sometimes when body is too acidic, it kills sperms before it has the chance to meet the egg or we might not even have the chance for conception due to imbalance pH, well I mean we will never know what happened inside our body, so why don't give it a try? In conclusion, Apple cider vinegar can work to balance the pH and therefore improve fertility.

Me & hubby take 2 tablespoons in the morning & night with 1 tablespoon of honey ! I believe it will improve sperm quality too!

Another herbal drink I prepare : Ginger Tea (1 bag), Green Tea (1 bag) & Cinnamon drink (2 sticks) :) Drink these 3 altogether in a cup of warm water, you can mix it with honey too :) I like it with a little bit of honey:

Yunani and Ayurvedic Medicine have been using honey for thousands of years to strengthen the semen of men. In China, Japan and Far-East countries, women, who do not conceive and need to strengthen the uterus, have been taking cinnamon powder with honey for centuries

For ginger tea, Chinese believes that it warms up our womb and make it ready for conception to happen and for green tea, of course besides the antioxidants for beauty, it's also good for fertility due to the antioxidant properties inside to protect body's cells from damage :)

My other superfood, Black Garlic.. this is very very good for body inflammation. Yes, I suffered badly from body inflammation in the past. I'm not sure whether it's due to my ovarian cysts or suspected endometriosis, I just got hot very easily.. After having one pill a day, I realise I'm no longer suffer burning sensation inside my flesh. What a relief!! I swear by this! Of course, garlic has super powerful antioxidant properties, prevents cancer, cures diseases and many more!!

What has it gotta do with fertility? well, when our body inflammation is high (due to endometriosis for example), it prevents us from conceiving!! so I drink this to control my inflammation and thus increase my chance to conceive!!

All we need is to just make use of nature truly & fully :)
