Hong Kong Wasted Holiday

Hello....

Back from Hong Kong holiday. I thought I'd enjoy it, instead I was getting RUDE treatments all the times because I stand TALL and wearing something nice and my hair is long, I got freaking starred all the times, oh the phrase "Diu Lei Lo Mo" or in English "f**k ur m*m" was scolded to us very commonly, people just shoved me off in the train, and so many other rude treatments there :(

As a tourist visiting HK, I was very disappointed with the ill mannered people were showing, there aren't much human rights there, oh well then otw back to SG, I fell sick, I wore my hubby's clothing, put on glasses, no make up, and I didn't get freaking STARRED, maybe for them, I looked normal "UGLY" woman, who'd want to have a look?? I just think it's extremely rude when I get starred all the times for wearing something nice and putting make up on and my make up is not those thick make up with fake eyelashes on, it's light make up, hello?

Oh gosh People would just commented me in Cantonese, "look at that tall girl, wow so tall..." and again that was when I looked "OKAY" and nobody commented anything when I was looking ugly and sick.. Seriously I can't stand any RUDE treatments because I'm a human being, and I don't think I want to visit Hong Kong anymore!!!

The funny thing is I got starred like I was above 7ft for Godness's sake, I'm ONLY 5'9 and that height is NORMAL or slighly TALLER for westerners and that's not a SCARY FREAKY TALL for most asians too... I can't imagine how if a supermodel with 6ft height or a basket ball player with 7ft height visiting that country, I bet people would gather and snap a picture. I truly deeply disappointed :'(

Well, not much shopping going on, in fact NOTHING as I was too afraid to go inside the shop and get scolded if I don't buy anything plus I can't speak Cantonese, so seller would just anyhow raise up the price.. So, honestly fashion stuff there is much more expensive than Singapore and the fashion style is pretty much the same here in SG as it's imported from HK in mass, so it's cheaper here, and so I wouldn't buy a thing!!!

I take the whole journey as a life experience.. I believe there are also some nice people in HK, just that maybe my trip was too short, so I didn't have the chance to bump into someone nice & polite :(

Here are some pictures, since I didn't really enjoy my trip, I didn't take many pictures

Disney Princesses Miniatures my hubby bought me :)

Hello Kitty Spec my hubby bought for me.. I love love love this :)

Me & lil sis :)

Me & hubby <3

I visited Macau too and I think it's a great place, very much Portuguese inspired, I just felt like I was in Portugal.

Here you go, Hong Kong!!

P/s: if you are 5'9 (1.75-6 m) tall lady like me, be prepared to get starred like a circus freak there, it's just not a country for everyone especially someone who is taller than average short Asian ladies (5'2 or 150 cm or slightly higher) cos people there stare at someone DIFFERENT like a FREAK or circus clown. So I'd never go there and embarrass my pride anymore!!!

Loves,
Netty
