Our little miracle, it started with 2 lines..

Hello everyone...

Today, finally I have the courage to tell the world that I'M EXPECTING A BABY!! I still can not believe that I'm finally pregnant. Today, I'm about 11 weeks & 3/4 days pregnant, I can not believe it that I'm growing a little person inside me :)

22 August 2012 - I found out I was pregnant.. I couldn't believe it at ALL... Shocked, happy, surprised, worried, excited, all kind of mixed feeling you can think of. When I took the pregnancy test, I was so sure that I was gonna get a big fat negative, but to my surprise this was what I found... 2 LINES!!
 
I didn't believe it at all, I thought the pregnancy test must have been some kind of error when I bought it, then I bought another whole bunch of different pregnancy tests, from the cheapest S3 to the most pricey digital ones, $26 at Guardian.. All pregnancy tests showed 2 lines and the digital showed "PREGNANT" I know I was crazy, after 10 more pregnancy tests, I was convinced that I was finally pregnant..



I believe my baby was conceived somewhere around the 2nd week of August :) so August is my lucky month :) Yeah?

27 August 2012 - Went to confirm my pregnancy and booked for my first ultrasound to meet my baby for the first time.. So nervous! I think I was about 5 weeks pregnant..

10 September 2012 -  I met my baby for the first time at 7 weeks pregnant, almost cry when I heard the heartbeat for the first time... the most touching moment in my life. Expected delivery date: 1 May 2013.. It's labour day!!

24 September 2012 - I met my baby for the second time at 9 weeks pregnant. Baby was so little, just about 2.2 cm from head to buttock

9 October 2012 - I met my baby for the third time at 11 weeks pregnant.., baby's about 4.1 cm, still a very little man :) Doctor said, no more meeting baby until 4 weeks later because it's pretty stable now :) and from now onwards, prenatal check up should be done every 4 weeks :) I think I'm gonna miss baby real bad!!

Doctor also mentioned that I have to go for first trimester screening/OSCAR test between week 11-13 of pregnancy, phewww... I'm going next week and I'm scared, man!!

 

Baby is so so tiny and I can't believe (mentioned 100 times) there's a little breathing human there in my warm cozy oven, how amazing!!

Every day is a bless for me, although my pregnancy is not always going easy..

My morning sickness can be very severe one day, next day, I was fine then sick again... and on and on..

My pregnancy sickness is not regular & unpredictable. I can be super fine in the morning, then puke 10 times in the evening.. I can also be fine for the whole day, then things go really bad in the next day..

Other pregnancy signs: breast enlargement (2 cups, oh yesssss!!!, my favourite sign), larger waistline, bigger & rounder tummy, hungry (I need to eat every 3 to 4 hours, or I will go mad), what else?

Funnily, I don't really feel sleepy or fatigue, the most obvious sign is just morning sickness, I should call it evening sickness because I rarely feel sick in the morning..

I hope next week at 12 weeks pregnant, my morning sickness is better.. If it doesn't, never mind, I don't mind it at all, as long as baby is healthy :) I'm willing to be tortured by my own pregnancy hormone..

Until now, despite the on and off sickness, I'm enjoying it to teeny tiny single bits, I'm enjoying my pregnancy, my weight gain (4-5 kg), and I truly enjoy being fat & curvy for the first time in my life
